Which is right for your service business? An honest, feature-by-feature look — including where we don't win.
Simply C2 is best for
Growing service teams, live in minutes
Accessible, self-serve, and built for companies that don't have months and tens of thousands of dollars for an enterprise rollout.
ServiceTitan is best for
Large-scale HVAC, plumbing & electrical contractors
20+ technicians, with the budget and operational maturity for a major software implementation.
ServiceTitan is a genuinely comprehensive, mature platform — a real customer portal, live GPS technician tracking your customers can watch like a delivery app, equipment and warranty tracking, an AI-powered field assistant, QuickBooks/Intacct accounting integration, and deep reporting. By most feature counts, it's one of the most complete field service platforms on the market.
But the numbers are hard to ignore: $245–$398 per technician per month, plus $5,000–$50,000 in implementation fees, with onboarding that can stretch for months. ServiceTitan itself states it isn't optimized for companies with 3 or fewer technicians. That's a real burden not just for Indian businesses but for smaller contractors in ServiceTitan's own US home market — a price point that leaves real room for a more accessible alternative to compete on substance, not just cost.
Simply C2 starts from the opposite end: free to start, live in minutes, no sales call, no implementation project. It won't match ServiceTitan's full feature depth — and we're honest about that below — but for the vast majority of service businesses, especially smaller and mid-sized teams, Simply C2 is built to be usable from day one.
Simply C2 is usable immediately, free for small teams. ServiceTitan requires a sales conversation, a custom quote, and typically a paid implementation project before you're up and running.
ServiceTitan itself states it isn't optimized for companies with 3 or fewer technicians. Simply C2 is designed to work for small and growing teams from the start.
Simply C2's app gives customers a Warranty Vault for every piece of equipment they own, full service history per unit, and — when the vendor is on the Simply C2 CRM — in-app invoicing and online payment. ServiceTitan's portal does more, but it comes with $5,000–$50,000 in implementation fees.
Automatically closes the loop from "shipped" to "installed and under warranty" — built for equipment manufacturers and distributors, not the trades-contractor model ServiceTitan is built around.
Fixed-interval, variable/run-hour-based, or ad hoc. ServiceTitan's service plans and memberships are built around recurring trade-service visits, not run-hour-triggered calibration cycles.
Customer registration and complaint logging through WhatsApp, distinct from ServiceTitan's SMS-based communication built for the US market.
ServiceTitan lets customers watch their technician's location in real time, like a delivery app. This is a specific feature Simply C2 doesn't offer.
Simply C2 doesn't currently have an accounting integration (our original QuickBooks plan was affected when they exited India).
ServiceTitan's mobile app includes AI troubleshooting help and automatic data capture from equipment nameplates — capabilities Simply C2 doesn't currently offer.
ServiceTitan includes built-in marketing automation. Simply C2 doesn't currently offer this. (Both platforms offer reporting and dashboards — ServiceTitan's are likely more extensive given its scale, but this isn't an area where Simply C2 has nothing.)
One open question we can't answer with confidence: whether ServiceTitan's customer portal shows invoices unconditionally, or only when specific modules are purchased by the contractor. Simply C2's in-app invoicing works when the vendor is on the Simply C2 CRM — we suspect ServiceTitan may work similarly, but we haven't been able to confirm this, so we're flagging it as an open question rather than a claim either way.
If you're running a large HVAC, plumbing, or electrical contracting business with 20+ technicians, a real implementation budget, and the operational maturity to support a months-long rollout, ServiceTitan is one of the most complete platforms available. If you need a service management platform you can start using today, without a sales cycle or five-figure setup, and your business centers on equipment installed and maintained over its lifecycle, Simply C2 is built for that.
Simply C2 doesn't currently offer route optimization, accounting software integration, or offline payment collection. If any of these are a must-have for your workflow, we're happy to discuss your specific needs.
