Hitachi elevator AC: troubleshooting and FAQs

Troubleshooting tips and frequently asked questions for Hitachi elevator AC.

Troubleshooting tips

  • If the elevator doors reopen repeatedly without obstruction, check for small objects near the door tracks. If the issue persists, contact Hitachi support at +91 11 4060 5290.
  • If the elevator stops at a floor but the doors do not open, press the door open button. If the doors still do not open, press the alarm button and wait for assistance. Do not force the doors.
  • If the elevator levels incorrectly (step between car and floor), do not enter or exit. Press the alarm button and report the issue immediately to Hitachi support.
  • If the elevator responds slowly to call buttons or displays erratic behavior, note the time and floor, and report to Hitachi support. This may indicate a control system issue.
  • If the elevator lights flicker or go out, remain calm and press the alarm button. Use the intercom to report the issue. Do not attempt to exit if the elevator is not at a floor.
