CCTV, Security & Fire Safety Systems Service and AMC Management Software

Security systems are installed once and serviced for years. A CCTV, access control or fire detection project can put dozens or hundreds of devices on a single site, and the installer is usually the one the customer calls when any of them stops working.

Cameras, recorders, hard disks and panels carry different warranties and sit under AMCs of different scope. Fire detection systems need periodic inspection visits, and a failed hard disk is often found only when someone needs the footage.

Whether you’re a security integrator, a brand’s authorized service partner, or a dealer with your own AMC business, the problem is the same: know every device at every site, what coverage it has, and which technician can get there.

What breaks without field service software

  • One site, dozens of devices, one ticket.A complaint that says “camera not working” doesn’t say which of the forty cameras, which model, or when it was installed. Without per-device records, the technician arrives without the history they need.
  • Faults are found late.Without scheduled inspection visits per site, a dead camera or a failed hard disk is often discovered only when someone needs the footage.
  • AMC scope differs by site and by component. One customer’s AMC can be comprehensive, another’s can exclude hard disks and other consumables. If scope isn’t tracked per contract, billing disputes follow.
  • Warranty runs component by component.Cameras, recorders, hard disks and fire panels carry different warranty periods and are often installed on different dates, so coverage can’t be read off one site-level date.
  • Periodic inspection and testing visits slip.Fire detection and access control systems need regular inspection visits. Across many client sites, due dates kept on spreadsheets get missed.
  • Spares are short or tied up.Hard disks, power supplies, batteries and cables used on visits aren’t logged against the site or unit they went into, so stock is short when needed and tied up when it isn’t.

Why it matters

Fewer repeat visits

When the technician can see every device at the site and its service history before leaving, the second trip for a part or a missing detail becomes the exception.

Inspections that don’t slip

Scheduled visits with due dates per site mean periodic inspections and AMC visits are planned, not remembered.

Clearer AMC billing

Warranty and AMC terms held per unit show what is covered and what is chargeable, so disputes at renewal are rarer.

Core capabilities

Serial-number-based warranty and AMC tracking

Every camera, recorder, panel and controller is tracked individually: installation date, warranty status, AMC terms and renewal date, including many devices at one site.

Full-functional mobile technician app

Technicians see assigned jobs, site and device history, and can update job status, log spares used and close tickets from the field.

Service CRM for repair, PM and installation

Covers new installation, scheduled inspection and AMC visits, and reactive repair inside one system.

Spares usage and stock tracking

Hard disks, power supplies, batteries and cables are logged against the specific unit they’re used on, giving an accurate picture of consumption and restocking needs.

Territory-based technician and team management

Jobs route to the technician assigned to that geography, with team visibility for supervisors covering many sites across a city.

Customer-facing complaint app, two-way communication

Customers log a complaint, track the technician’s arrival, approve estimates for chargeable repairs and chat directly, instead of chasing by phone.

Brands we track in this category

Simply C2’s customer support directory already covers the major security and fire safety brands operating in India. If you run service operations for one of these brands, a dealer or partner network under them, or an independent security integration business, this is what you need to run it well.

FAQ

Can it track each device at a site separately?

Yes. Every camera, recorder, panel or controller is tracked by serial number against the customer’s site, so a complaint is tied to the specific device and its history.

Can warranty differ between components at the same site?

Yes. Warranty status and AMC terms are tracked at the individual unit level, so a camera, a recorder and a fire panel installed on different dates each show their own coverage.

Does it schedule periodic inspection and AMC visits?

Yes. Preventive maintenance visits can be scheduled per site or unit, so periodic inspections for CCTV, access control and fire detection systems are due-dated instead of remembered.

Does it monitor cameras or alarms remotely?

No. Simply C2 manages the service side: tickets, visits, contracts, spares and technicians. It doesn’t monitor live camera feeds or alarm signals, which stay with your monitoring or video management tools.

Is this only for security integrators, or can brands and dealers use it too?

Both. Integrators, brand service partners and dealers with their own AMC business all run on the same core system. The difference is scale and branding, not functionality.
